The Merry Men of Chudleigh

January 2013. Directed by Andy Chinneck, and with roles taken by Gina Sherwood, Alison Palmer and Mandy Lovick as King Richard!

The Anniversary of Waterloo

2015. A joint production with CRAPS (Chudleigh Repertory and Performance Society) to celebrate the anniversary of the famous battle. Written by Rod Blackshaw and directed by Tess Frost, with Chris Over and Eric Mahy going head-to-head as the Duke of Wellington and Napoleon Bonaparte. Lots of pipes, drums and audience interaction! It was preceded by a re-enactment of The Duchess of Richmond’s ball which was held on the eve of the battle.

The Queen’s tea party

As part of the nationwide celebrations around the Queen’s 90th birthday Hannah Hurrell masterminded a cooking competition between bakers from Chudleigh, Bovey and Teign Valley. After finding the hidden ingredients the audience helped with the ‘Bake-Off’, after which the Queen was resented with a cake.
